Originally broadcast October 23, 1938, this classic adventure story takes us back to the 1870s, reminding us of the huge obstacles and hardships a journey could impose on a traveler then. However, these concerns don’t deter Phileas Fogg from betting his bridge buddies he can circumnavigate the world in 80 days. This is the tale of that incredible trip, its demands and complications—including being trailed by an incompetent investigator who is convinced Fogg is an internationally wanted criminal.
Noted to be one of Jules Verne’s most acclaimed works, the AFTRA/SAG Senior Radio Players will perform this script as it was originally produced with live sound effects and no re-takes. Limited reserved seating for Mosaic Members.
